Program Design

After the range is selected, the Maytag project desk prepares a sourcing pack that combines quotation, certification scope, packaging notes, spare-parts assumptions and launch risk. For laundry programs, that can include drum capacity options, motor configuration, vibration control, water inlet requirements and service diagnostics. For dishwashers, we document rack configuration, leak-testing path, spray-arm durability and sanitation expectations. For refrigeration, the pack covers compressor selection, refrigerant path, cabinet insulation and energy-label assumptions. The buyer can review one decision document with procurement, marketing, QA and after-sales teams before committing tooling or container slots.

Sampling and Production Control

During sampling, every modification is tracked through an engineering change log. Color, logo, control panel language, carton artwork, instruction book, rating label and compliance icons are checked against the same SKU code so retail, e-commerce and service teams do not receive conflicting information. Before mass production, Maytag confirms packaging drop tests, pallet layout, spare-parts list, warranty item mapping and production inspection points. This operating rhythm is intentionally practical: it gives importers and distributors a clear trail from first request to landed inventory, while still leaving room for private-label presentation and channel-specific packaging.
